this week is off to great start

this weather is amazing, and the boys are embracing it with lots of outdoor play!

playing at the park is always fun!!

on tuesday morning's seany and vito swim like fish!!

 we also took a trip to the zoo today, so much fun!!  favorite part was feeding the ducks their whole lunch..

weekend review

friday:  seany school, mommy and vito library, daddy work... all in the am

hello boys, look this way.  or not

we hadn't been to the library in a while.  not a thing had changed.   vito still knew right where to find the super hero books!

daddy picked up our lil buddy on his way home from work.  we are always excited to spend time with mr. kyluan!!   we went to a little carnival on friday evening with our cousins and the boys had a great time.  of course we saved time to play a game before hitting the hay.

saturday: gym in the morning and out for dinner that evening!

sunday: daddy ran a race in the morning and then the whole family headed over to the bradley's for an amazing breakfast!! we had so much fun!!

this pic is over two years old, however its one of my favorites.  i love babies in footed sleepers, they look so darn snugly.  to anyone that still has a baby in a sleeper, savor every single second for in a blink it will be gone :0)  happy thursday which also means friday is right around the corner..

nature walks, an all time favorite

my boys truly enjoy their walks to the fullest.  while letting the dogs out this morning i couldn't help but notice how beautiful the weather was outside.  we grabbed our jackets and flew out the front door.  i took advantage of the natural light and tried my first attempt at using the manual setting on my new camera.


we were gone for almost an hour and only took one lap around the block.  seany said he was a real life "nature tracker" and boy does he know how to find some good naturey stuff!

  my favorite find of the day was the giant foot print seany found.  later during lunch we discussed how it might have come from big foot!  his imagination is quite admirable if i do say so myself.

seany and vito have showed me a new way to look at nature and it's a lot more fun their way!

will spend the evening with you and your children.  we had a blast eating dinner and bowling with our gang!!

diy**** dying for a coat of paint

seriously there is absolutely nothing attractive about a block of wood that holds your knives.  if your like me and this thing is always out on display on your counter why not paint it up!!  i saw this idea on pinterest and ran with it.  i bought a lil bottle of acrylic paint and gave it 2 coats.  once that dried  i put to coats of modge podge on the top.  so easy!! give it a whirl and i encourage you to pick a fun color, i used turquoise blue.

a lil bit of snow

the moment seany woke up and saw the snow of course he wanted to go out and play.  not gonna lie i had absolutely zero interest in digging out the snow gear to go outside and freeze my batooski off.  we enjoyed looking at it through the window while staying warm and cozy inside the house.

we were fortunate not to have to leave the house until we decided that evening to venture off to the gym. as we were pulling into the garage when we got home seany asked " can i please just step into the snow one time"?  hank and i looked at each other and smiled, how could we say no.

the fun was short lived and they were ready to come back in.  burr baby it's cold outside!!
