runaway ball

last week the boys were playing in the front yard.  our yard is on a hill and the street is also a hill.  i warned them if the ball rolled down the street i would not be retrieving it.  they continued to play soccer and then it happened....

as the ball rolled down the street, seany stomped up the hill.  he was mad and knew mommy wasn't gonna offer a helping hand.

seany where ya going i ask???  no reply...

right about the time he reached the garage, all hell broke loose...he turned around and ran frantically towards the street.  "my ball"....

so glad i had my camera with me.  i wasn't at all prepared for this meltdown but the look on his face will make me laugh for a lifetime.  moral of the story... don't play soccer on a hill and use your camera often.  obviously these pics are of poor quality but the moment captured is priceless!

 i had so much fun capturing these memories and am thankful for the practice i have gained.  mother nature delivered beautiful weather for the occasion...

i hope these pictures produce many smiles, make lasting memories, and add the finishing touch to beautiful frames that monopolize the walls and mantels of loved ones for many years to come!  a warm thanks to my cousins michael, jessica, and precious shane:-)

about a month ago i bought a new lens for my camera. seany and vito are everything but patient and i have yet to get a chance to practice with it.  that is until today my cutie batooti niece riri came over.  i found a tiny bit of shade and snapped a few quick photos.......

my birdie friend is sure gonna have her hands full... six tiny eggs that have since hatched into 6 of the ugliest babies i have ever seen.  as soon as they get some feathers ill attempt to snatch a couple pics!!

easter 2012

us schwartz's over here had a wonderful easter.  we started out the morning with the traditional basket hunt.  the boys are always more than pleased with their findings!!  the following photos were taken approximately 20 seconds apart.  seany and vito were sitting nice and handsome cheesing for mom when all of a sudden daddy swore he saw the easter bunny hopping down the street!  needless to say the baskets were quickly tossed on the floor and little bodies scurried to the window....

we had a yummy breakfast at grandma and grandpas house and got to spend quality time with some of our favorite people....

we headed to meemaw and pawpaw's in the evening for good food and a great time....
