why bird why?

about a week ago i found a small birds nest.  the problem here is the nest was built on top of the wreath that hangs on my front door:(  i took a deep breath and carefully took the wreath down to give it a quick inspection.  thank god it was egg free.  i felt a bit guilty but i removed the nest.

yesterday the boys and i were heading out to play in the front yard.  i opened the front door and a bird flew straight out of my wreath directly to a tree across the street.  no way, not again:(   i take the wreath down and this time there are 2 tiny speckled eggs.  we've been invaded again.  my feathered friends are darn lucky i am an animal lover!!
